The industrial National coordinating council of Uganda under the Industrial Global Union has met with the labor office at the ministry of gender, labor and social development seeking a legal way forward on how to achieve justice for workers in various foreign and locally industries in Uganda.
About 10 industries operating in Mukono, Bweyogerere and Bugolobi are being accused of denying their workers the right to join labor unions, a state which leaves them un represented and at the mercy of their employers.
