If you were to say Aaron Rodgers & The Green Bay Packers have had a rollercoaster of a 2022 NFL season, that in itself would be a big understatement. From their hot start, to their rough mid-season struggles, and even now what’s been seen very recently out of backup QB Jordan Love, there’s some things about the Green Bay Packers that many people don’t seem to want to mention.

To start, with Aaron Rodgers thumb injury now continuing to play more of an effect on how well he plays, many are quick to blame the Packers passing game & new wide receivers in guys like Christian Watson & Romeo Doubs, along with others like Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb & Sammy Watkins for their struggles. But in reality, this is far from the case. In fact, Aaron Rodgers has still played above average and on pace with what we’ve seen from Green Bay in recent years. With the Packers offense seeming to struggle compared to the past, their offense isn’t the biggest issue.

The Packers defense on the other hand, definitely might be. And while this needs to improve while injury riddled, & while the offense tries to keep finding their stride through their air attack & even the running game by using Aaron Jones & AJ Dillon, whether it’s Aaron Rodgers or Jordan Love leading the offense over the next few weeks, there’s still plenty of reason to keep your eye on the Packers as time goes on.
