Title: (Codeless) Data Science Interviews

Abstract: In the first part of the presentation, Victor will share his personal story of working with the codeless/lowcode data science tool called KNIME and his interview process during and after the data science masters program at the University of San Francisco. The latter half of the presentation will walk through common topics in data science interviews and showcases KNIME’s ability to perform visualizations, statistics, and machine learning all in one platform.

Victor’s bio: Victor received his master's degree in data science from the University of San Francisco and is currently working in the same field at KNIME. He teaches courses on data science, machine learning, and KNIME. His initial projects and interests were in the deception detection space and also in health care, but originally his love of data science blossomed from natural language processing in the translation field.

Corey’s bio: Corey Weisinger is a Data Scientist with KNIME in Austin, Texas. He studied Mathematics at Michigan State University focusing on Actuarial Techniques and Functional Analysis. Before coming to work for KNIME he worked as an Analytics Consultant for the Auto Industry in Detroit, Michigan. He currently focuses on Signal Processing and Numeric Prediction techniques and is the Author of the Alteryx to KNIME guidebook.
