Updated Federal Vaccine Guidance

The American Ambulance Association continues to receive numerous questions from members as more and more federal, state, and local agencies issue rules and regulations regarding mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations. During this Quick Take we cover the latest guidance from the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force regarding mandatory vaccinations for federal contractors. We also discuss the guidance from the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) regarding the HIPAA Privacy Rule and the sharing of employee vaccination status. Lastly, we give a quick update on pending publication of the upcoming CMS and OSHA regulations regarding mandatory COVID-19 vaccination.
