Ukrainian armed forces 'blow up bridge to stop Russia's advance on Kyiv'

A bridge near Ivankiv in northern Ukraine was said to have been blown up by Ukrainian armed forces to stop the Russian column.

The move was intended to stop the advance on Kyiv, according to the Pravda website.

On Friday the Ukrainian military reported significant fighting northwest of Kyiv as Russian forces apparently tried to advance on the capital.
