This Month in Payroll - April 2022

This edition will review the relevant payroll announcements contained in the Federal Government’s 2022-23 budget, in particular proposed changes to paid parental leave and further support regarding gender pay gap reporting.

In addition, we will explore two other developments relevant to payroll, being:
1. The ATO’s Decision Impact Statement on the Personnel Contracting case and its continued effect on contractor vs employee arrangements; and
2. The Senate committee report into Wage Theft.
