He founded his company EAmmune in 2003 with the mission of helping as many companies as possible develop mature security programs without major disruption to business operations, and EAmmune has since delivered on this mission at well over a hundred brands.

A sought-after public speaker, his highly pragmatic, no-nonsense, and occasionally whimsical approach to security management is captured in his books "Why CISOs Fail", which was inducted into the Cybercannon in 2020, and "The Security Hippie", released in 2022 to rave reviews.

He also serves as board advisor on several security company boards. His recently completed fiction novel is currently seeking an agent and publisher.
