Security Guard Defends Hotel Clerk Who Was Attacked by Man

A California security guard defended a hotel worker who was attacked by a man. Ronnie Toms works security at the Pacific Terrace Hotel in San Diego. She says she stepped in when a man who is reportedly a U.S. Marine went face-to-face with a hotel employee because they could not find a reservation he claimed to have. When the man started to attack Toms, she knocked him out with a lamp. Toms says she has bruises and scratches from the clash.
