SCOTUS Contender Faces Scrutiny Over Discrimination Cases

President Joe Biden is set to select his nominee for the Supreme Court, but concerns over one contender, U.S. District Court Judge J. Michelle Childs from South Carolina, is bubbling to the surface.

Bloomberg Law recorded 25 cases Childs worked on, 23 of which involved employment discrimination and civil rights violations in the workplace. Nearly half of these lawsuits concerned racial or gender discrimination. She represented the employee in only two of these cases.
