Romans 13 Bible study

Published
This week in our study of Romans, we study Romans 13. Pastor Zarling was asked to write a pastors’ conference paper for May. He is turning that paper into a book. The title of the book is “A Christian’s Resistance to the Dragon’s Beast: The Christian Balance Between Romans 13 and Revelation 13.” For the study today, Pastor Zarling reads through the first chapter entitled: “You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means.”

We examine what the word “submit” means in its biblical context and in application to the government, church, home, etc. We apply the 4th commandment in our service and obedience to those in authority. We also apply “giving God what is God’s and Caesar what is Caesar’s.”
