Former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich sat down for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he detailed how he got into politics after his father-in-law asked him to run for the state legislature. He then spoke about successfully running for state representative twice, and later successfully running for Congress. Rod then spoke about winning the 2002 election for Governor of Illinois and winning re-election in 2006. During the conversation, Rod also addressed his arrest in 2008 and the events that followed, including him being impeached and later sentenced to 14 years. Rod also spoke about Donald Trump commuting his sentence, which led to him coming home in 2020.
