So this is a bit different from my usual wrestling match predictions & reviews. Recently Greg Hamilton was released from WWE for reasons not 100% confirmed as of this video. However, leading into his release, Hamilton took up an issue with Westside Gunn. Gunn sampled Hamilton’s voice in the song “Undertaker vs Goldberg” from Hitler Wears Hermes 7 (2019). Hamilton didn’t like his voice being used in the song.

Hamilton taking issue with it is fine. Hamilton doesn’t have to like the song or be a fan of Gunn. However, how he went about it was not. Unnecessarily disrespecting one of WWE’s Biggest Superfans who also happens to be both a HUGE Pro Wrestling fan with respect from a decent number of Pro Wrestlers and an ICONIC Hip Hop Artist without doing your due diligence isn’t a wise move. Plus threatening to use your employer’s lawyers in a public forum to sue someone over a personal matter isn’t a bright idea. Especially if the person you’re threatening to sue is a good friend of your employer. To quote Jadakiss (via LL Cool J), “You’re just a worker and your boss is my man.”
