Prosecutor: Parents bought gun for Oxford school shooter, met with teachers morning of attack

The morning of the Oxford High School shooting, prosecutors say a teacher found note a depicting a gun, a bleeding person and the words "the thoughts won't stop, help me," drawn by the teen who fatally shot four students and wounded seven others later that day.

His parents were called to the school to meet with teachers after the note was found, but Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald the prosecutor says during the meeting they didn't ask him about a handgun, which they allegedly purchased for their son less than two weeks earlier.

Both parents have been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter.
