@Cop Watch obtained body worn camera footage of a raid on New Mexico State Representative Sheryl Williams Stapleton in relation to a New Mexico Attorney General's Office investigation.

Williams Stapleton is accused of using her position as a powerful lawmaker and APS employee to funnel money to her personal, and business bank accounts. She was charged with 28 counts of fraud.

The charges stem from an APS contract with Robotics Management Learning Systems LLC, a Washington, D.C.,-based company that has provided software and training for vocational students for more than 15 years at a cost of more than $5 million.

Sheryl Williams Stapleton is an American politician and educator who served as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives from 1995 until her resignation in July 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, she also served as the majority floor leader in the House from 2017 to 2021

Federal charges are pending.
