PD: 7-Eleven clerk hospitalized after shooting in Dixon, officers search for suspect

A 7-Eleven clerk was hospitalized after a shooting in Dixon on Tuesday night, according to police. Officers responded to a call around 10:21 about a man who said he had been shot at the 7-Eleven on North First Street. When officers arrived, they found a clerk with a gunshot wound who was taken to Kaiser Hospital is in critical condition, police said. "That’s horrible. Shocking," said resident Sally Schroeder. "I feel so bad for them, absolutely."
