Occupational Health and Safety for Dental Offices

Dentists are obligated to keep their employees safe in the workplace. The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requires all employers to be compliant with their standards. OSHA is an act that covers all industries and does not provide specific guidance regarding the compliance requirements for a dental office.

At the completion of this course, attendees should be able to:
• Understand what is required to implement a Health and Safety Program in the dental office
• Learn how to maintain a Health and Safety Program
• Understand what type of policies and procedures should be in place (including pandemic planning)
