Notre Dame promotes Marcus Freeman to head coach (post-Brian Kelly to LSU)

In addition, offensive coordinator Tommy Rees will be staying with the Fighting Irish, further establishing continuity moving forward. As the 35-year old Freeman and 29-year old Rees lead the Irish, a youth movement is afoot in South Bend.
