Over the past years there have been numerous petitions to the NMC UK to have a second look at their English language requirements for overseas nurses. This part of the nmc application process has become a difficult hurdle for most internationally educated nurses to cross.

The NMC UK has finally listened and agreed to review the ielts/oet requirement from April to September 2022.
