Neymar was consoled by Ivan Perisic's son after Brazil was knocked out of the World Cup on penalty shootouts by Croatia on Friday. Following the full-time whistle of the iconic win over the tournament favorites, Croatia players invited their families onto the pitch to celebrate qualification to the last 4 for the second consecutive World Cup. As the Brazilians broke down into tears, Croatia midfielder Perisic's son went over to have a comforting word with Neymar who was still at the center circle in tears. Brazil's number 10 gave a hug to the boy before being led away by Dani Alves. The boy was seemingly pleased as he sprinted back to join the Croatian celebrations. Despite scoring a magnificent goal for the Selecao at the end of the first period of extra time, Croatia leveled the match 3 minutes before the end of the game sending the match to penalties where they won 4-2.
