The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is working to track down three murder suspects in two separate homicide cases and is asking the public to help keep an eye out or share any information that can lead to their locations.
A news conference was held February 15th at OCSO headquarters to outline the ongoing investigations involving the shooting death of 48-year old Earnest Riggs Jr. March 17th, 2021 and the unrelated shooting death of 44-year old Nancey Schreiner February 9th, 2021.
One of three suspects in the Schreiner case has now been arrested. 23-year old Travon'te Mclaughlin of Crestview is charged with murder while engaged in a felony offense and firing a missile into an occupied residence. He was taken into custody yesterday. Investigators continue to work to locate co-defendants Jacob Gabay and Tyauvion Morris of Crestview.
In the Riggs homicide investigation, OCSO investigators are looking for 19-year old John Galvao-Sahb who has an active warrant for first degree premeditated murder.
Sheriff Eric Aden says investigators have been relentless in pursuing evidence to find justice for the victims, and now public assistance can be vital in locating the wanted individuals.
If you have any information on the suspects' whereabouts, please call the OCSO at 850-651-7400 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers with the P3 Tips mobile application, at 850.651.TIPS, or emeraldcoastcrimestoppers.com.
