Newcastle Develop: Workplace Culture and Inclusivity

Published
Most of us spend a third of our waking hours at work, so the culture and environment we work in has a huge impact on our lives. But what can we do to recognise and improve a bad work culture?

The recent changes in the recruitment market reflects the value and importance employees put on work culture, with 70% of gen-Z employees wanting to work for a company whose values align with their own.

But when looking for a new role, how do you balance values against the more tangible benefits such as salary? And how can you make changes to your workplace culture to improve it?

This webinar, recorded on 26 January 2022, brings together 4 Newcastle University alumni panellists who provide advice on recognising both good and bad workplace cultures in your job hunt, how you can improve the culture you work in and what this means for your careers.
