National City: Male Arrested with Concealed Ghost Gun and Illegal Pistol Magazine 12312021

The 21-year-old male suspect was in a dressing room inside of the Ross’s store and when he left, an employee went in to clear out that dressing room of any items left behind.

That employee found a backpack inside, and upon opening the backpack the handgun and pistol magazines were found. The Police were called.
The suspect went to the store’s front desk asking for the bag back and was met by the Police officers.

He was detained. Inside the backpack were a loaded Ghost gun and a 10 round and an illegal 34 round magazine. The suspect was then arrested.
A search of the male was found with a very large sum of cash. The suspect refused the Police to search his vehicle parked outside of the store and the Police will be obtaining a search warrant for the car. The car had no license plates.
