Published
Mumta Ito, founder and director of the International Centre for Wholistic Law. Formerly a high-powered corporate lawyer in the City of London, she currently heads the European Citizen’s Initiative for Recognizing and Respecting the Inherent Rights of Nature.

Mumta Ito began her legal career in the heart of London’s financial sector, advising investment banks, multinational corporations and governments on large-scale complex transactions. While outwardly successful, inside she found herself “feeling deeply unfulfilled.” It was during a leave of absence that she experienced a profound spiritual transformation that led to what she later called “a personal journey of evolution.”
