Man Tries To Grab Officer’s Gun & Receives Dozen Charges

Another day in the life of an officer...

On October 15, 2021, officers responded to a local hospital to assist with a combative male in Sparta, WI. He refused to cooperate with staff and was physically assaultive toward officers. While many officers worked together to restrain him, he made an effort to grab at an officer’s weapon. As a result of the incident, he was given seven felonies and five misdemeanors.
