News UK confirmed presenter Kate McCann fainted on stage while live on air for the debate between the two Tory leadership candidates. It said she was fine but the debate would not continue. Liz Truss was interrupted when a loud crash was heard on stage before she left her podium and the programme was abruptly taken off air
