LinkedIn: Expand Your Network, Leverage Your Job Search

LinkedIn has become one of the primary career exploration, job searching, and networking tools available on-line. In this workshop, you will learn how to best utilize LinkedIn to explore career options, develop professional relationships, maximize your profile and connections, and communicate your subject matter expertise. Additionally, you will learn how best to connect with UNC-CH alumni and strengthen your professional brand through LinkedIn. What you will gain after this workshop: Career Management competency: You will be able to recognize the importance of LinkedIn for career exploration, job searching, relationship-building, and the importance of life-long learning. Self-Awareness competency: You will be able to recognize and reflect on the role of your own interests, abilities and multiple facets of identity in shaping your thoughts and actions related to your LinkedIn profile.
