Labour CS Florence Bore calls for respect of workers' rights

Kenya has called for a renewed social contract to promote decent work and social justice to ensure the rights of workers in and out of the country are protected. Speaking during a plenary session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Florence Bore challenged governments to commit to strengthening laws that will advance equal opportunities for sustainable development. The CS also had bilateral meetings with several countries including China, India, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Kuwait to further talks on Labour Migration to create job opportunities for the Kenyan unemployed youth.
