Less than six months after signing a non-monetary collective bargaining agreement, Teachers Unions are now demanding the renegotiation of the 2021 2025 CBA. In their latest moves, the Kenya Union of post-primary education teachers, KUPPET, and the Kenya National Union of teachers, knut, argue that the economy has recovered from the effects of the covid 19 and there is no reason to stop the full negotiations and implementation of teachers salary reviews after the same was frozen last year.
