Know Your Rights - General Discussion - Sara R Philips, Ellen Murphy and Gareth Murphy

Published
At the 1982 Irish Congress of Trade Unions conference a motion was passed in supoort of lesbian and gay rights. To mark this important milestone and in celebration of Pride month 2022, the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and the Financial Services Union have come together to present a series of lunchtime webinars that explore the role of the Irish Trade Union movement in supporting the LGBTQ community in Ireland.

This series of webinars were produced in partnership between FSU and Irish Congress of Trade Unions to mark the anniversary and to celebrate Pride. We would also like to thank Gay Community News (GCN) for their help and support in producing this series.

The second in a three part series:
How well do you know your rights? What can a union do for you? Using a number of case studies we examine what protections exist for LGBTQ workers in Ireland.

What protections are there for members of the LGBT community in Ireland?
