John Gurda 'How the Socialists Saved Milwaukee' ala Cactus Club

Thursday, March 11 2021 Milwaukee historian John Gurda teamed up with Cactus Club, an artist-run music venue, to provide a presentation called How the Socialists Saved Milwaukee. Hosted on Zoom, the history workshop attracted an intergenerational audience of about 60 attendees. This workshop was just one of many virtual programs offered by Cactus Club during the COVID-19 shut-down.
