In this video, Kevin Hicks tells the strange story of John "Babbacombe" Lee, the man they couldn't hang. In 1884, the most horrible murder of Emma Keyse occurred in the sleepy seaside village of Babbacombe Bay in Devon, England. Despite pleading his innocence suspect John Lee, an employee of Emma Keyse, was found guilty and sentenced to be hanged, but for reasons still unexplained he survived three execution attempts.
