"It's time to die": 9-year old Texas school shooting survivor recounts gunman's chilling words

A nine-year-old survivor of the mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas earlier this week told his story of the terrifying moment a gunman entered his classroom and said: "Time to die."

The fourth-grader at Robb Elementary school said he took cover under a table and witnessed a classmate and teacher lose their lives before the police shot the gunman dead.

"When the cops came. The cop said: Yell if you need Help! And one of the persons in my class said help. The guy overheard and he came in and shot her," he said.

Officials in Uvalde on Wednesday notified all the families who lost loved ones in Tuesday’s slayings, which included 19 children and two teachers.
