INZ claims the right to have access to the payroll records of every New Zealand citizen

Former Minister of Immigration for Aotearoa New Zealand, the Honourable Tuariki Delamere, is interviewed about Immigration New Zealand (INZ) claims to have the right to demand, to require, every employer that wishes to employ a migrant worker, to provide the personal and private information details, including payroll history of every employee in the company or organisation. That includes the payroll information and other private details of New Zealand citizens.

Tuariki Delamere claims that this is unlawful and breaches the principles of the Privacy Act 2020.
