Ime Udoka Says Celtics Will “Likely” Name 2 Team Captains | Practice Interview 10-2

BRIGHTON, MA -- Celtics Head Coach Ime Udoka spoke to reporters on Saturday after the Celtics training camp practice. Boston will play its first preseason game vs the Orlando Magic on Monday.

Udoka said the Celtics have been looking at lineups and tinkering with different ideas. Said he’ll probably use different lineups throughout preseason and continue looking at that. He also said they they don’t want to define roles too early. He wants players to define their own roles to some extent by the way they play.

He also said the Celtics will "likely" name 2 team captains.

Ime also said Bill Belichick reached out to him and welcomed him to the city.
