How to Show Gratitude to Your Team: Annual Reviews and Raises

Published
It’s not crazy to use annual reviews and raises to show your insurance team gratitude.

Owners, don’t make people have to ask for a review. It should be built into your system. We just talked about end-of-year planning, reviews could be included in that.

Reviews are an opportunity to not only point out issues, but also recognize performance. Your team might be put off at first, but over time, everyone’s performance will get better and become more and more consistent.

And as for raises, the cost of living does increase. No one is asking for buckets of money, but keeping things on the up and up will really resonate with your team.

Maybe you simply beef up benefits. There are a lot of options.

But this only works if you are honest about performance. Let your team know what you see. That is the only way they will ever really grow.

In this video, we cover:
- Don't make people ask for a review
- When reviews are consistent, performance happens
- The cost of living does increase
- Be honest about performance

Use annual reviews and raises to show your insurance team gratitude. Invest in them. You’ll be glad you did.
