In this class, we're going to talk about how to manage your professional brand—that is, how you put your identity out in the world—and how you can leverage it to grow your career.

This class will cover a few key areas:

1. Our definition of “personal brand,” and in defining your own, some self-reflection around how you see yourself and how others perceive you.
2. Your achievements are your proof that you've got abilities—and we feel strongly that abilities are the currency of careers. We get hired for our abilities, and achievements are how we most effectively articulate and prove those abilities.
3. Your blurb is your pitch—your concise way of talking about who you are and what you want to do. It's your elevator pitch for yourself, your way of explaining briefly who you are and what you do when you ask for an introduction or make a reference or a referral.
4. Your LinkedIn profile, which is the most powerful career-building tool out there, and how to manage that online presence.
5. A summary of how we think about managing your brand more broadly.
