How to Configure User Roles and Employee Permissions | Sellercloud Tutorial

This tutorial will show you how to configure employees as buyers and auto-assign a buyer to a product from a purchase order inside Sellercloud.

Here’s what you need to do to configure buyers on an Employee level:
► Go to Settings, Employees, and click Manage Employees
► To create a new user, click the Add icon or open an employee’s profile from the list
► Go into the Toolbox
► Open Permissions and set them to your liking

To configure buyers on a Product level, you need to:
► Go to Catalog, click Manage Catalog and select a product
► On the Product Details page, go into the Toolbox and select Purchasing
► Click Edit and select a Buyer from the General tab
► You can bulk-update buyers on products using the Bulk Update Tool
► Choose Purchaser as a column header, and enter the buyer’s username as the value

Buyers can also be auto-assigned to a product from a purchase order. As a user adds a product to a purchase order, that user will automatically be saved as the Purchaser on the product’s Purchasing page.

To auto-assign a product from a purchase order, you need to:
► Go to Settings and click Client Settings
► Go into the General Client Settings
► Select Purchasing
► Enable the Auto Set Purchaser When Product Added To Purchase Order option.
