I satayed at The Premier Inn in Sunderland city centre for one night in August 2021 on a bed and breakfast basis. i'm not sure exactly how much the room cost as it was paid for by an employer, but i suspect around £35 with the breakfast around £8.

The hotel is well located for Sunderland centre, it is a 5 minute walk to the main shopping and bar areas and around a 10 minute walk to the train station.

The hotel seems like a fairly new-build and was in excellent condition. The room was a standard Premier Inn room with all of the typical Premier Inn features. A good sized and very comfortable double bed, a chaise lounge, desk, chair, flat screen TV and air conditioning. It was the usual good quality buisness / budget hotel standard that I have come to expect from Premier Inn. The breakfast was a continental buffet combined with a hot breakfast served at the table, it was excellent. I would absolutely come and stay here again in future.
