In this video, we are discussing some details that specifically pertain to Social Security, SSDI, SSI, VA, low income and snap beneficiaries otherwise known as food stamps. As all of us recognize all too well, each year when we get an annual cost of living adjustment otherwise known as cola raise to monthly fixed income benefits, snap benefits also called food stamps are reduced proportionately. In this video we are discussing an easy solution that Congress could implement to change this so that snap benefits or supplemental nutrition assistance program, food stamps are not reduced as a result of the annual cost of living adjustment. Social Security will be announcing the annual cost of living adjustment within the next few weeks we are hoping that Congress can do something about this so that snap benefits, food stamps are not reduced in a significant way for fixed income Beneficiaries and the low income.
