What is this session about?
Databases are everywhere. The number of different types of databases continues to grow. The need for knowledge about how to work with databases is not only limited to developers but as data becomes more and more important, everyone needs to understand these technologies better.

This session is a tour of the world of some of the most popular database technologies: SQL, MongoDB/NoSQL and Graph databases. Our tour guides are industry experts and the people working with these technologies daily.

Why should you attend?
Whether you are a web developer storing user information, data scientist retrieving data to build an AI/ML model or even working on your own hobby applications, you are probably working with a database in some way. Emil Nildersen, Senior Solutions Architect – MongoDB
Emil Nildersen is a senior solutions architect at MongoDB, responsible for guiding customers and users to design and build reliable, scalable systems using the MongoDB data platform. Emil has a background as a software developer mainly focused in IoT and information management solutions. One of his passions is to teach Software Development and IoT at Nackademin and to develop for the Home Assistant project.

Max Andersson, DevOps Engineer (Developer Relations) – Neo4j
Max is a DevOps Engineer/Advocate at Neo4j with a background in building, migrating, deploying, configuring, and educating in cloud computing and distributed systems. Currently managing infrastructure for thousands of databases weekly. Previously, Max has worked as a consultant with many clients ranging from startups to enterprises handling deployments on multiple cloud providers. Max is an easy-going and value-driven individual who, in his spare time loves skiing and traveling.
