Gender diverse & transgender people’s experiences of the law

Do you identify as gender diverse or transgender or do you work with gender diverse and transgender clients? Have you or your clients encountered legal problems or obstacles because of your (their) gender identity? This webinar looks at legal issues experienced by gender diverse and transgender people.



You will hear from someone with lived experience. The webinar includes a discussion of discrimination law and the complaints process in the Australian Human Rights Commission. It also covers issues such as identity documents, change of name and sex, employment protections and practical issues when gender diverse and transgender people come into contact with the criminal justice system.
