Filling the Pool - 7 Years on

In 2015, the Committee for Perth released its gender equity research report, Filling the Pool. The report provided 31 interlocking recommendations. In the seven years since the release of the landmark report, little progress has been achieved nationally in closing the gender pay gap and we are generations from meaningful change based on current trends.

Achieving gender equity is a complex issue but whilst change is happening, it isn't fast enough. A national strategy is needed to shift the needle on Australia's equity issues.
