Just over a week ago, Barbadians woke up to the news of a fatal freak accident at Roger's Quarry, which took the life of 37 year old excavator operator Rohan Went.
He was killed when a large boulder fell on the vehicle he was operating.
However, this is not the first time unexpected tragedy has hit the family, as the mother of Rohan's first child was one of the six young women killed in the 2010 Campus Trendz fire.
CBC's Cheyne Jones travelled to the Silver Hill childhood home of Rohan to speak with his brother and daughter.
