Excluded workers report obstacles to COVID-19-related aid

Last month, the application process opened for New Jersey’s $40 million fund for undocumented workers and others excluded from federal and state pandemic assistance. But several people who have applied to the fund say they’re struggling to get their applications approved; others say they have failed to get clarity on why they were rejected for aid.
