Before the five official nominations for Best Foreign Film at the 2023 Academy Awards are announced in January of next year, let's take a quick look at every single film eligible for those five slots. Each participating county chooses one movie to represent them at the Oscars, and the official nominations are then decided on by the Academy from that pool of 93 country submissions. This is a great way to put a ton of new foreign language films on your radar at a time when they haven't yet seen much attention beyond their own country's borders.
