'Entitled' Twitter employees mocked after Elon Musk cuts their free lunches

Published
Social media users mocked Twitter employees for being “entitled” after Elon Musk revealed he was ending free lunches at the San Francisco headquarters because it was costing $US13 million a year.

Mr Musk tweeted the company spends millions of dollars on food service despite majority of its employees working from home, with the peak occupancy at the office being only 25 per cent.

“Apparently Twitter employees will starve if not given free gourmet meals at work. I only now realise that every job I’ve ever worked at was starving me,” one Twitter user wrote.
