Learning Objective: Professional Engineers have a unique responsibility to protect the public’s health, safety, and welfare. Engineers are governed by Codes of Ethics and Ethical Principles at the national, state and local levels. The National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Council of Engineering Companies, and each state licensing board provide codes of ethics and engineering practice acts. It is important to know these codes of ethics and how to apply them. This webinar will review various codes of ethics and their application, along with a review of some case studies and lessons learned.
