The recent case of Forstater v CGD Europe has brought into focus difficult issues arising in relation to the trans community. Amongst these is that of whether the law protects the gender fluid at all and whether, if it does, how employers should tackle the vexed question of allocating toilet and shower facilities. Underlying all of this is fierce conflict between the trans community and a number of prominent feminists.
