KPMG Chief Economist Doctor Brendan Rynne says they expect the economy to “slow” over the next “12 to 18 months” as job vacancies are difficult to fill.
“We do expect the economy to slow over the next 12 to 18 months or so,” Dr Rynne told Sky News Australia.
“We’ve still got large job vacancies.
“We’ve got this skills mismatch at the moment and what we need to do is to try to attract foreign skilled migrants to come to Australia to help continue grow our economy.”
