Does the new Ontario tracking legislation have any teeth?

The Ontario government has introduced legislation as part of the Working for Workers Act which could have an impact on employee rights while working remotely. As part of Bill 27, employers will have to inform employees when they are being tracked electronically and to what degree. What could this mean for employee rights?

Alex Lucifero, an Ottawa employment lawyer and managing partner at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP spoke with Matt Bingley at Global News and explains this legislation needs to "have teeth".
